Career Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on maintaining and administering both our company’s and clients’ computer networks. As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing IT infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the security and reliability of network systems. You will work closely with network users, address potential system issues, and play a key role in disaster recovery and network protection.

What will you be doing?

  • Deploy, manage, and support end-user computing systems, including Windows, Linux, and Apple (iOS/macOS) devices
  • Maintain and troubleshoot complex environments involving Windows Server, Linux, Azure, M365, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Administer computer networks, including software, applications, and hardware configurations
  • Manage Active Directory infrastructure, DNS, DHCP, IAS, Clustering services, and security protocols
  • Implement and configure Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Meraki firewalls, switches, and access points
  • Provide advanced support for virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper-V, and Citrix
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange and SAN storage technology
  • Support WAN and LAN connectivity, including routers, firewalls, and VPN/Terminal Services
  • Serve as an escalation point for backup and disaster recovery technologies like Veeam Backup and Replication
  • Monitor system alerts, apply updates, and respond to service tickets promptly
  • Document infrastructure and communicate incident progress to stakeholders
  • Support IT projects and operational tasks as needed
  • Participate in an on-call rotation at least one week per month

Must Haves

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Azure & Office 365 backend administration, including Microsoft Exchange
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Office 365, ADFS, WAP Server, and Azure Active Directory Connect
  • Strong experience managing Microsoft Windows and Linux servers
  • Professional certifications such as MCP, MCSA, MCSE, Citrix CCEA/CCIA, Fortinet NSE, Cisco CCNA, VMware VCP, RHCSA, CISSP
  • Experience with Endpoint Manager, M365, AD, OneDrive, SCCM, Intune, and Autopilot
  • Hands-on experience installing and configuring servers, storage, network switches, and firewalls
  • Expertise in M365 collaboration platforms, including SharePoint, Teams, and Yammer
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose and resolve complex IT issues
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changes
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant IT experience in large-scale environment
