Position: Space Planner

Tenure: On-Going, Temporary (Full-Time, Permanent Potential)

Position Overview:

What will you be doing?

• Develop and manage planning and analysis tools
• Utilize and run macros and VBA/SQL scriptwriting in Excel, Access and JDA
• Upload data into JDA and download reports from SAP
• Identify opportunities for improvement in processes and procedure
• Liaising closely with the merchandising team/department
• Provide merchandise reporting and analysis for various initiatives and processes
• Use JDA space planning software to create plan-o-grams
• Creating computer blueprints for use by the store merchandiser
• Using your organizational and analytical skills to strategically place products to maximize sales

Must Haves:

• 1+ years of relevant experience
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Able to understand the merchandising function in business operations
• Experience with JDA or experience with plan-o-grams
• Merchandising experience is a considerable asset
• Retail experience is an asset
• Good demonstration of organization skills and attention to detail
