Career Description:

The successful hire will oversee financial and operational reporting development while leading risk and contract management initiatives. This role ensures regulatory compliance and organizational safeguarding through strategic alignment of reporting, risk management, and contract practices that support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead annual budget development and financial forecasting with departmental leaders aligned to strategic priorities
  • Design and maintain financial models supporting strategic planning and scenario analysis
  • Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with timely variance analysis
  • Develop operational performance dashboards incorporating key performance indicators
  • Monitor organizational KPIs and deliver analysis supporting strategic planning and executive decisions
  • Identify automation opportunities to streamline reporting, budgeting, and finance processes
  • Collaborate with leadership to provide actionable insights on financial and performance metrics
  • Support business case development and financial modeling for new initiatives
  • Identify revenue enhancement and cost optimization opportunities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive risk management policies and procedures
  • Assess and mitigate risks related to operations, finance, compliance, and service delivery
  • Enforce privacy compliance policies and respond to incidents ensuring mitigation and prevention

Must Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, analysis, and management in regulated or complex environments
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, SQL, BI tools)
  • Experience with enterprise financial and operational systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Leadership and team management capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High accuracy and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities

Nice-to-Haves

  • Master’s degree or CPA designation
  • Knowledge of Workday Adaptive Planning or similar tools
