Intake Coordinator
Toronto, ON Temporary January 30, 2024 Compensation: $20/hourCareer Description:
Our client is a non-profit organization that provides support to seniors in the west GTA regions. They are seeking a Full-Time Intake Coordinator to work out of their Head Office and support administrative and intake responsibilities on a rotational basis.
What will you be doing?
- Conduct all day-to-day administration, including data management, responding to phone calls and emails, receiving any walk-ins, filing, and mail distribution
- Prepare and audit client files
- Receive intake calls, provide agency information and begin file start up process
- Ensure accuracy and detail in all work
- Conduct data entry while creating new client files by entering demographic information
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety policies and procedures, including reporting any unsafe practices and contributing to recommendations for improvement
- Prepare intake statistics for client referrals and client portals
Must Haves:
- 2+ years of administrative experience in a busy environment
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Social Services/Gerontology, Medical Office Administration, or similar
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Excellent interpersonal, de-escalation, and organizational skills
- Must be comfortable to complete a Police Reference Check as a condition of employment
