Position: Infrastructure Security Staff Architect

Tenure: 1 Year Contract

Location: Springdale, AR (Remote Option Available)

Position Overview:

As the Infrastructure Security Staff Architect, our client is looking for someone for to lead technical analysis and development of the integration, testing, operations, and maintenance of security systems and infrastructure.

What will you be doing?

• Configure security infrastructure and tools (e.g. firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management)
• Ensure security infrastructure and tools are properly maintained, updated, and are working to specification
• Provide technical support to customers who need assistance
• Perform network security analysis to understand vulnerabilities and can create, coordinate, and execute plans for mitigation
• Implements network security controls and assists with the evaluation of organization security policies and procedures

Must Haves:

• College or University degree in Business or IT or equivalent work experience
• 6+ years of business and IT in a progressive environment
• 5+ years of experience in Information/Cyber Security experience
• Working knowledge of common operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) and basic endpoint security principles
• Hands-on experience with common networking services and protocols (TCP/IP, SSH, FTP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SSL, etc.)
• Experience with maintaining and operating common security technologies (IDS, IPS, Cloud Security, Firewalls, WAF, Endpoint Security, SIEM, etc

Must Haves:

• Must have the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical team members
• Practical knowledge of network security and vulnerability management scanning and remediation techniques
• Ability to analyze and interpret information technology proposals and evaluate and develop alternative implementation plans
• Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail
• The ability to think creatively to find elegant solutions to complex problems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The desire to work both independently and collaboratively with a larger team and a willingness to be challenged along with a strong appetite for learning

Nice to Haves:

• 5+ years of experience in Information Security, Security Operations, Incident Response, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and correlate information from a wide variety of enterprise technologies
• Demonstrated experience managing firewalls and other security technologies
• Understanding of common security threats, attack vectors, vulnerabilities and exploits
• CompTIA Network+/Security+, GIAC (GCIA, GCIH, GSEC, GCFA, GCFE, etc.), CISSP, CEH or related certification(s) desired
