We are seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses to support a well-established healthcare facility in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. This is a contract assignment offering a unique opportunity to provide critical care services in a high-acuity setting while enjoying the beauty and culture of Northern Canada.

What will you be doing?

• Provide emergency nursing care in a 15-room Emergency Department, including 2 trauma rooms and 3 rapid assessment chairs
• Maintain a patient load of approximately 3–4 patients per nurse
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians available 24/7, as well as onsite and on-call radiology, lab, and respiratory therapy services
• Assess, triage, and stabilize patients in urgent and emergent situations
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to quality patient outcomes

Must Haves:

• Current RN license in good standing
• CANNN certification is required (those with a pending license may be considered for review but cannot be confirmed until licensing is complete)
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent Emergency Department experience preferred
• Excellent clinical judgment, adaptability, and communication skills
• Willingness to work in a remote Northern community
