As a Space Planning Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing planning tools, managing data, and supporting the Space Planning Team with macro/script writing. You will collaborate closely with the merchandising team, utilizing software like JDA to create plan-o-grams and enhance product placement strategies that maximize sales. This is a full-time, contract position (potential for permanent hire) for our client that is a well-renowned retailer.

What will you be doing?

• Developing and managing planning and analysis tools
• Writing macros and SQL scripts in Excel, Access, and JDA
• Uploading data to JDA and extracting reports from SAP
• Collaborating with the merchandising team on various initiatives
• Creating plan-o-grams and store blueprints
• Strategically organizing product placements to drive sales

Must-haves

• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of merchandising and retail operations
• Experience with JDA or creating plan-o-grams
• Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills

Nice-to-haves
