Business Coordinator

Our client is an established Long Term Care home in Toronto. They are seeking an experienced Business Coordinator to help support day-to-day scheduling, operations and accounting functions (i.e. accounts payables, receivables and payroll). The successful candidate will have a strong accounting background.
What will you be doing?
- Oversee all accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including recording transactions, maintaining vendor files, reconciling vendor accounts and statements, and assisting with the annual audit
- Import and manage data in Sage
- Verify and record employee expense records
- Work alongside administrative team to support coverage and nursing schedules
- Maintain employee Benefits Program and WSIB payroll calculations
- Oversee payroll functions including calculating salaries, wages, and deductions using ADP
- Verify attendance records, timesheets, and answer any staff inquiries
- Ensure policies are updated to maintain compliance with legislation
- Ad-hoc responsibilities as required
Must Haves:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar/accounting role
- Experience with Sage and ADP is a strong asset
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
Nice-To Haves:
- Healthcare industry experience
